6. bail bondsman's fees
- Before an agreement of bond if entered into, the bail bondsman must present the
client with a written instrument of the following:
- Costs and expenses.
- Adjustable Fees.
- Lower than normal fee is unethical as it serves as a disincentive to effectuate the bond in a punctual timely manner, when other similar files offering normal fees were
available.
- Greater than normal fee is considered unethical in circumstance where the owner
needs to post bond quickly.
