7. aviod any unethical acts
- Discrimination. All clients must be treated equally without regard for sex, race,
religion, national origin, age or marital status.
- Clients should be represented by legal counsel when dealing with complex agreements.
- Asking a client to sign a disclosure report without telling the client to read it first is unethical.
- Unethical to recommend that a client put up security for bail bond when he knows
that the insurance will not be able to disburse the bond in a certain given circumstance.
- Unethical to make representation that cannot be made from the bail bondsman' s own known l edge, unless the bail bondsman identified the source of information, i.e., form 8300 reporting transactions over $10,000.00 cash.
