- Police Tactics.
- In all arrest types, situation police tactics are used, i.e., hand cuffing, fire arms,
which we will cover later, law enforcement, booking procedures, and prisonal
transportation.
- Fire Arms
- Under California Penal Code Section 12031 (D) an agent described as a "person", has the right to carry a fire arm while trying to make a lawful arrest. This is clearly written to ensure an agent's right to carry a firearm. This does not give the right to "pack heat" every where you go.
- Just remember when it comes to fire arms, you are your own boss if you decide to
break the law. Then you have to deal with it. Firearms can be your best tool in your
position. They can also be your undoing.
